If you are a lover of all things coastal grandaughter aesthetic, vintage Roxy and Billabong, summer sunsets, and laid-back, yet put-together beachy outfits, then you and I alike struggle to channel our summer fashion sense during the winter months given the constraints of cooler temperatures. The perfect tans and nose freckles may have faded but rest assured, the coconut girl can take on winter fashion.
First of all, major major shoutout to fashion influencers Karsen Kimball, Natalie Zacek, and Viviane Audi to name a few who have perfected California fall fashion. I am so inspired by their unique ability to cultivate personality through clothes and bring color, life, and spunk to each outfit. It’s so easy for you all to recreate these outfits: either shop in your own closet or feel free to skim through some of the pieces I selected below.
Chunky pastel sweaters
There’s absolutely no need to have the budget of Matilda Djerf in order to replicate one of my favorite outfits I came across on Pinterest. Pair a chunky pastel sweater with white jeans (that’s right I am encouraging a major fashion faux pas for the sake of the aesthetic… white jeans past labor day) and birkenstocks. Twist your hair into a claw clip, pull out the chunky gold Amazon hoops, apply a pinky lipgloss, and you’re good to go.
